The lotus blossom is the most ephemeral of flowers, only lasting two or three days. This one was in our courtyard in Serrano.

This is Town Center, the largest shopping center in El Dorado Hills.  It is just south of Highway 50.

There are many local vineyards and wineries,  This was taken at Boeger Winery in Placerville, fifteen minutes up Highway 50 from El Dorado Hills.
